Are you one of the single girls or guys this Valentines? Hmmm, well i admit i am really one of those girls who will not probably celebrate the valentines and this is the first time in the history! ( hehehe! ) duh! i don't care! am i againts valentines now? hahaha! nah! i maybe a bit bitter! hehehe! nah! anyway., just for the sake of the so-called valentines ., here are some few tips i saw in one of the blog here in multiply ., you maybe wanna do one of these cool ideas.,

Single Is FUN! am i right? well, for me it is ...
So, Instead of celebrating the day with someone that you'll be with for just a matter of months ., i guess you may wanna check out the list below and make plan now for yourself. Ü Goodluck!

1. Pamper Yourself. make an appointment at the day spa, be indulgent, or splurge at the mall.

2. Celebrate with friends!. For girls: plan a girl's night out on the town, or for guys: plan a poker night, or organize a sports game.

3. Be Proactive!. Donate your time to a worthy cause. Just because you're not spending Valentines Day with a valentine, does not mean you can't spend it with those less fortunate than you.

4. Prioritize!. Make a list of things that need to be prioritized in your life. Once you have made a list of things you would like to make more time for, write out a plan to help you reach those goals.

5. Reorganize!. Make Valentines Day your new spring-cleaning day! Tackle your closet with a new plan, put all the clothes you don't wear anymore into a donation pile, and rearrange the clothes you do wear.

6. Take a short trip. Pack a bag and hit the road. Planning a short trip will take your mind off the whole Valentines Day tradition and it will be a fun getaway.

7. Think positively. Not having someone to share Valentines Day with isn't the end of the world. Just think, not having a valentine is much easier than actually having to plan out what to get a significant other.

8. Spend time with your family. Make it a night to remember by watching all classic romance movies together.

9. Get physical. Go for a run. Go to the gym. Play a round of golf. Go for a hike. Do something active-anything active-to keep you busy and get your endorphins pumping.

10. Be creative. Be artistic. Channel your emotions into creating a painting, a poem, or a song.

11. Go to a movie.. Alone.. (YES, ALONE!).. There's just something about seeing a movie when most people are not even thinking about what's on at the movies!

12. Take a roadtrip. Get out & about and explore some unknown territory in your car. If it's warm enough, roll the windows down (or put the top down), crank the tunes, and go wherever the road leads you. You have no destination. You have no obligations today. You are free to roam the great outdoors and just enjoy the day... alone. (Want some extra adventure?... rent your dream vehicle (like a Jeep or a motorcycle) for the day!

13. Cook up something interesting... Literally.. Whether you're handy in the kitchen or not, find a recipe (either an old family favorite, or one you dig up online), take a trip to the store and purchase all of the necessary ingredients. (Don't forget to splurge on some special pre-made dessert that's to die for!) Rush home to work your magic. And waa-lah... marvel at your accomplishment.

14. Take Some pictures. Hopefully, you'll feel compelled to get outdoors and photograph places that mean something to you, or some common local sights (people window-shopping downtown, kids playing at the park, animals at the zoo). If that's not motivating you, then consider these unique ways to use a digital camera. Either way, spending the day sharpening up your photography skills will surely yield some satisfying results at the day's end.

15. Pursue your passion. Whatever it is that you are passionate about in life -- be it a particular hobby, travel, craft projects, charitable acts, etc. -- use this day to make great strides by just doing that today. This is also known as drowning yourself in productivity... or pursuing those things that you are passionate about. As long as it's something you are completely driven to succeed at, then you will still be having FUN while accomplishing great things at the same time.

16. Get a puppy... or, if you have a dog, walk it. Okay, I'm not advocating people who haven't already weighed out the pros & cons of owning a dog go out and get a puppy -- just on a whim. That's certainly not the right way to acquire a housemate, playmate, and lifetime friend. But, there's no denying the many ways that a dog can help you get a date.

17. Celebrate being single. Whether you choose to have other single people over to celebrate by playing these one-of-a-kind singles games, or whether you prefer to soak in the glory of being single on your own, the goal is simply to make today your day!

18. Stay inside. This simplest of all solutions is also the most difficult to carry out, because this year, Valentine’s Day falls smack in the middle of the work week—and your supervisor may not appreciate having half her work force call in sick on a busy Wednesday. But if you’re self-employed, by all means, lock your door, turn off all your lights, and wait ‘til the day is over.

19. Be a spoilsport. Okay, you have no choice but to go to work, but that’s no reason to succumb to the V-Day spirit. At the water cooler (or wherever else you and your colleagues blow off steam), loudly express your opinion that Valentine’s Day is a plot by greeting card companies to bump up their post-Christmas sales (there’s more than a grain of truth in this, by the way).

20. Don’t compare yourself to other people. If you’re the type who imagines folks secretly pointing at you on the street and laughing at your single status, you’re spending way too much time measuring yourself against supposedly happy, snuggling couples. Remember: just because a person is partnered up on V-Day doesn’t necessarily mean that he or she is blissed out (or even remotely contented).

21. Turn off the TV. By following the above steps, you’ve managed to make it through your workday (and your commute) with your self-esteem intact. Don’t toss it all into a heart-shaped hamper by sprawling out in front of the tube and watching Valentine’s Day-themed episodes of your favorite TV shows. Rent a good movie instead, or turn off the tube entirely and spin some thrash metal.

22. Commiserate with friends. It’s perfectly okay to ring up your single girlfriends (if you’re female) or male friends (if you’re male) and dis on Valentine's Day. But at all costs, avoid the temptation to call your ex or that hottie at the office you’ve secretly had a crush on all these years. That kind of maneuver is dangerous enough in ordinary circumstances; on February 14, it’s potentially deadly.

23. Let Single Friends Know You Care. February 14th isn't just a day to celebrate romance, it's a day to appreciate love in all its forms. That includes friendship. Pals are an important part of a single's life, so let yours know you care by writing each one a heartfelt note. Let your friends know you care about them and are happy to have them in your life.

24. Waiting for the Right One. One of the worst things a single guy or gal can do on Valentine's Day is wallow in the self-pity because he or she isn't in a relationship. The truth is, if you aren't with someone today it's because you aren't going to settle for someone who isn't the right one for you. So many people are desperate to be in a relationship because they don't want to be alone. That certainly isn't you!

25. Take Stock in Your Dating Goals. One reason singles get frustrated with dating is because they aren't ready to admit they want a relationship. It's okay to do that. Rather than waiting for it to happen, take measures toward getting the life you want. If finding someone special is on your agenda, brainstorm ways you could possibly meet new people. Then, work on small steps toward achieving that goal.

26. Be Good to Yourself. One benefit to being single is that you don't have to answer to anyone. Revel in that fact this February 14th! Do all the things you love this Valentine's Day. Eat popcorn for dinner, watch loads of TV, read magazines all night, or spend a week's paycheck on a new pair of shoes. However you feel like treating yourself, do it without guilt.

27. Have a Singles Get Together. If you know of a couple other single people who feel like celebrating, gather them together for a Valentine's Day bash. Go out on the town for a great dinner and night at the club. Or have a house party with tons of great music, spirits, and food. Perhaps you all just need a good DVD, some pizza, and wine. Friends make any occasional that much better.

28. Regardless of how you spend the day, take a moment to celebrate your own personal strength. You've made the choice to remain single because you aren't about to let someone in who isn't right for you. That's a positive thing. Delight in the fact that you are single at the very best time in history.

29. Think. When Valentine's Day rolls around so many singles begin to get the blues simply because they think being happy on this one particular holiday requires that they be in relationship bliss. Not True! You simply have to be your own Valentine.

30. To be the best Valentine for yourself, the entire holiday has to be about lil ole' you. Your likes, your wants, your needs. The first thing you need to decide is what kind of Valentine your going to be to yourself. Are you going to be an outgoing Valentine or a stay at home romantic Valentine.

31. If your going to be a stay at home romantic Valentine your going to need to do some legwork. The day before Valentine's day, plan out your all time favorite meal and hit the store to pick up everything you will need to make it. (Only get enough for you, a bunch of left overs will just depress you) Schedule your favorite flowers and Valenti

February 14th brings 14 great reasons to be single!

1. You can eat pizza, drink beer, and play video games with your buddies.

2. Don’t have to spend a week’s worth of pay on roses, candy, and a romantic dinner. Seriously, save yourself a few hundred dollars.

3. Don’t have to write a poem, or even buy a card.

4. You don’t have to worry about where you’ll be sleeping.

5. You can eat pizza, drink beer, and play video games with your buddies.

6. Romance isn’t about any particular day.

6. Valentine’s Day is far from spontaneous.

7. You may have a better shot at hooking up with the girl you’ve been checking out lately (if she’s single of course). Many women hate being single on Valentine’s Day, because they see their friends with roses and candy. The following day, they have to listen to all of the romantic story telling. Take advantage and cheer up the woman you’d like to be with. She might feel lonely. Something simple, like a card, will set her mind on you.

8. You can eat pizza, drink beer, and play video games with your buddies.

9. You know the thing women just love to do? Nag. Ya, you won’t have to deal with any of it.

10. You don’t have to shave.

11. Heh, you don’t even have to shower (just don’t tell your co-workers/friends).

12. While other men are spending the previous day planning, and setting up shop, in hopes of pleasing their women, you’re doing the same thing you’re going to be doing on Valentine’s Day; eating pizza, drinking beer, and playing video games with your buddies!

13. After all that pizza and beer, you’re going to be passed out anyway.
