have you ever watched a religious movie?  

I think i used to when i was a kid.

i love to watch such movies....at least with that we will b able to know the history ....and i feel its better to watch for change also

I have watched religious soaps such as Mahabharat on T.V when I was a kid. But, have never watched a religious movie.
But, I like watching movies with a religious theme such a Khuda Ke Liye.

I've seen The Passion of the Christ. Does that count?

Yeah, I saw religious movies back when I was a kid. The Greatest Story Ever Told, The Ten Commandments, maybe a few other ones along with those. I also saw a little bit of the Passion of Christ but didn't sit through the whole thing. I already knew how it was going to end. :)
I heard a lot of people getting all worked up and emotional over this film, it being about Jesus and all. I understand the passion, love, and devotion that some people have about Christ, but I wasn't going to get all worked up about actors up on a screen. They're actors, not the real deal, they're reacting an event. They're getting paid to do it.
I remember watching a show on tv with an older friend of mine, and someone got shot( it was a crime show or something.) Well, after the show was over my dude turned to me and said," How many people died in that show?" I said," Four." He laughed and said," None died!! They're all actors!"

Hello sureshgandhi! I have watched religious movies. I like the movies about the 10 commandments, life of mosses and the story about Jesus. I even love those movies and would love to watch it if given a chance.
