I am not religious. I am however fascinated by philosophy...morality...ethics.... I believe we should do things because we believe they are right, not because we are told that is the way.... I don't understand how if we are all "children of God" so many Christians will argue if one another is a "true Christian" I don't understand how religious extremists do not recognize the hypocrisy of their ways.... I wish people could just accept and work with each other, here on this earth, instead of for some "Eden" that we do not live in. Why not better ourselves today, together in this world, so we can make it to whatever is after?

Instead of believing in God, we should try to believe in each other.

Well if I must pick a title/label then I'm Pagan Buddhist..but the reality is that my path is a very personal and eclectic one consisting of Witchcraft, Buddhism, Native American Spriituality and Vodou.... How do I feel aobut other religions? I have no issues with them at all in fact I find them ALL (including my own) very interesting and quite beautiful really...what I DO have issues with however is some of the followers of various religions...I have NO tolerance for hateful, hurtful, narrowminded, shallow fundies..

I have NO tolerance for people who sin and still think it is ok. Jesus Christ is the ONLY Way to Eternal Life. Without Him, there is no hope at all! God bless!

I like you, Springlady. You seem to be a person with guts on here. You speak your mind. Keep standing up tall and strong for God. He needs people like you to speak for Him. Hallelujah. I really and truly praise God for you. It encourages me. No, we are not all Children of God. He is not a universal Father, a Santa Claus figure who loves and accepts everyone the way they are. If we are to embrace Him--and the way to Him is through His Son, Jesus--we are to change our ways, and to accept His house rules. If I step foot in your house--then, in so doing, I agree to abide by your rules. For I am currently in your house. God is the same way. I didn't write the Bible. I didn't put Acts 4: 12 in there, which says that there is "no other name...given among men, whereby we must be saved." I didn't put that requirement in there. It is the 900 pound elephant we all must face.

I am of a nature based spiritual path. Haha. You might label it pagan if you wish, but I don't really label it. I believe what I believe and life is a journey to me. As far as other people. I'm pretty tolerant. I do poke fun of my grandmother when not around her because she makes funny statement about praising the 'Lard'! And, 'the only pill you need is the gos-pill'! Haha. I'm not the only one that laughs about this. I know it isn't nice, but she's a little kooky in the head! Anyhow, as long as people don't push their beliefs on me I'm good. I have had people email me or send me messages on my network page saying that they were going to pray for my eternally damned soul and if I wanted to speak to someone about it I should get in touch with them. These are the people I report as spam or block use. I grew up a preachers daughter and as far as I remember I believe that you are supposed to show people through your personal life how much better your religion is, not harrass them!

I'm catholic and to me it doesn't matter what anyone else is. I like people for who they are and not by what religion they are. Your religion doesn't shape who you are. It may change how you view things, but you still are who you are with or without your religion.
