THE PSP: it costs more! it does not have as much games! however, it has better graphics and has other things such as storing music, pictures, videos. and it also has web on it. (the ds does not have any of these)
I own both of these and even though the psp has alot more offers than the ds i love the ds more, because they have the games that i like to play!
if he likes action games like final fantasy and shooting games i think he'd like the psp. if he likes games such as the sims or hidden object games i'd suggest the ds.
hope this helped!

It's supposed to have a camera, a built-in MP3 player and the ability to download DSi-ware games. (Possibly even classic Game Boy games.) It'll be smaller than the DS lite, though. The PSP is probably around $180, so I guess it all depends on your own preferences. I have no idea which system has more games, but some of the best games for DS are getting harder and harder to find, unfortunately.

I used to have a Sony PSP game console before but I sold it after two months because i didn't like it that much.. the games were limited and yes and the game experience is different(it makes me feel dizzy after an hour and so, maybe i'm not used to 3D games, that's why!).. my sister has both game consoles and i've noticed that she's spending more of her time playing with her DS Lite.. I got so curious so i decided to try it out.. without a doubt, DS lite is way better than PSP.. It has more exciting games such as Diner Dash, Cake Mania 1 and 2, Pokemon, Cooking Mama 1 and 2, Hell's Kitchen, Nintendogs and many more.. DS lite games will get you hooked for sure!

If he likes RPGs, puzzles, and/or interactive games, then go with the DS. If he likes action/sports games, or some nifty strategy RPGs, then go with the PSP. I have both handhelds, and they're great (I don't even use the multimedia features on the PSP, mind you).

I think PSP have more great game and have a good quality, same as ps2, and DS have entertaining game which will improve our crativity when playying it's game. Both of them is expensive i though, so it also hard to decide. But I think you'd better give your brother a DS.

| | 9. EliteUser (3956) | 10 months ago | Hi,
It really depends how old your little brother is. If he is under a teenager then I would definitely recommend a Nintendo DSi for him. The main reason being, is that there are a lot more games for the DS than for the PSP. Also, the games are much more enjoyable as they include characters like Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Wario and many others. On the other hand, even though the PSP has got way better graphics, I find that the games are really boring and I got sick of them really quickly. Plus, it is quite expensive. So my bet would be to buy the Nintendo DSi. Hope this information helps you!

| | 10. mymelodake (903) | 5 months ago | I think the best way to decide is to ask your brother to go look up DS games and PSP games. I think it would be best if he decides basing on the platform in which the majority of the games he likes are made for. I got this advice from my brother. I didn't have this in mind when I bought my DS, but I'm really happy that there are so many games for the DS that I like Pokemon, and Animal Crossing, and my all time favorite, Ace Attorney.
