I am still a student, but I am currently working part time at a food chain near our place. I just received my very first paycheck yesterday. And, wow! It really made my whole morning great. I seem to be very proud of myself knowing that I am already able to live by myself, and earn for myself. How about you guys? What is your experience on receiving your first paycheck?

Hi yAks89, congratulations and I proud to hear that you are a working student and striving to live your life. Like you, I also work as a crew in a fast food chain when I was 16 years old. Yes, I am studying and working when I was in 4th year high school. Before I was hired as service crew, I have given the company a parent consent so they will hire me for good. I work there for 1 year, but when I decide to entered college I resigned and continue my education. I hope you will continue your hard work and strive so you can able to graduate. Spend wisely. Well, my first payment from the job. I share it with my parents of course and kept some for my daily allowance.

Even if it is a single cent,if it was by our hardwork and the moment we receive ,we would be filled with much joy.I have had experienced that joy too and it is like achieving something really great and it has given me a feeling of mature enough to compete in this competitive world.I received ma first payment at the age of 18 which is $60 which is not much big but i still remember it and treasure it although am earning more than that now
