| Is DVD brand name a matter?  | | | |  I recently bought a DVD player from HHGregg, with merely $45. What a great deal I considered at the moment. It plays all my recorded DVD, and I love it so much. I also suggest a friend of mine to get one. It was a Sony brand name.
After he got to the store, all the Sony DVD players were sold out. I suggested him to get on with JVC brand name, it has the same function. He was reluctant to buy it, due to its brand name.
Does brand name such a big deal to you when you purchasing an electronic item?

| |  yes it does,i mean if you get a laptop of hp with a intel processor it would definately last longer than sony's expensive notebook.You see each brand has a specific quality like Sony is good for media like tv and stuff but it is fragile,while as LG also have tv screens but it is better for kitchen applications ..
So it does matter and thats why when choosing stuff you should consider your need like if you wanna get something that is not easy to break get Panasonic but it's quality of display will not be that good and if you want good sound system go for pioneer.
