Absolutely and they suspect Bobby Kennedy as she wanted a baby with him and was about to expose her relationship with him. They have her red diary where she talked about her relationship with him etc etc.

One day maybe we will know the truth but many mysteries are still around and never solved.

Yes, I believe she was murdered and it's covered up..if someone should decide to take the cold case..am sure they would find out who did it. It's easy to inject a poison that isn't detectable in the system. It exists. I heard of it once before and a great detective found it..by a fluke of some kind.

Hi dancingredfeather, I agree it was murder and a cover up . I also believe the Kennedys's had something to do with it . She was a beautiful woman and I think she suffered alot because of that beauty. She was used and abused by many.
I wonder how many times in her life she wished she was not beautiful .
It's very sad . Another one that was used and abused was Judy Garland .

I also recently watched a documentary on Betty Page that was very interesting. It seems that those blessed with beauty also pay a price for it.

The Kennedy's are well known for doing all sorts of things and still somehow come out in good standing. Freakin Ted Kennedy is now being considered for the title of "sir" in England???? what is that? he literally killed a woman years ago and it has amazed me ever since that he still gets voted into office year after year and that incident is hmmm...forgotton!! How in heck does this family still remain in politics? Then there was the cousin accused of murdering that young girl. I don't know what happened with that but ironically it never hit the front pages around here. Whatever really happened to marilyn...I can almost bet a Kennedy was behind it and that it will always be covered up.

If I remember the woman that died while being with Ted Kennedy was really an accident. He didn't kill her on purpose.

You didn't read right..the bruises were not made from her intoxication cause she took none!..it was made to seem she did but none were found in her belly..but a puncture shote like an injection was found near her rectum..

Yes classy. Marilyn had a alcohol problem and bad people used that as a means to make their murder look like suicide. God knows what they did and they will have to answer to this. Yes she was and she had been told not go and sing at John Kenndy's birthday celebration, not even show up..and she did anyway..then she was going out with Bobby Kennedy and wanted more than being his mistress. It was said that she even was pregnant with his child..

Oh I'm sure! I was just a little kid when all this happened but I remember bits and pieces of it and my parents talking. They never believed it was suicide either. It would be very interesting if somehow they were now able to go back and come up with evidence to actually explain it all. Can they still even use DNA from so many years ago?

Absolutely, if they could use DNA and if the forensic science was as it is today..they would have found what drug was injected in her body. There are drugs that you can inject to kill and it doesn't show in the body.

Wouldn't it be great if they'd dig this case back up and re-investigate? I would imagine that there are some still alive that would be squirming even now. Even if not, it would set the record straight. Her legacy deserves that much. It seems to me that one particular family has many many dirty little secrets and yet still, they are portrayed as something great in the media while the women that loved them got dragged down. I would love to see them exposed for what they are or were.

Really now! There are many people with worse bad relationships than with the Kenndy's and that doesn't mean that they*would be lucky* to die! It had nothing to do with any secrets but not wanting to be known he was with an actress..in those days it wasn't well looked upon.. a mistress yes but not as a wife..especially in the position they were in. It had nothing to do with knowing state secrets..Monica Lewinsky and ex President Bill Clinton had an illicit affair and she wasn't...suicided!

that is what they said it looked like when they arrived on the scene but when the investigation was made..they said she had been put on her stomach with the phone in her hand..because she had two bruises on her back which only could result from being dead..on her back..so she had been turned over..yes she had attempted to commit suicide but that was used as a probability but it was proven she didn't as..if she had taken 40 pills, they would have been in her stomach..and there wasn't a trace of it at all.

I know there is a drug that you can inject in a person which will kill you without leaving a trace..they did find a needle punchture in her or near her rectum..which she couldn't do herself.
