probably something she ate for lunch, if it was italian ice ? that only has flavoring on it. if the ice cream was bad you'd taste or smell it, and sometimes kids just get sour stomach's.

No it probably wasn't that. That just happened to be the last thing she ate. She probably would have gotten sick whatever she ate. I am glad to hear that she is doing better.

yes, when I was pre-ulcer, I could not take any dairy products easily not suggesting she's pre-ulcer, but she might be becoming lactose intollerant

I only know of adults with lactose intollerance . Can kids have it? It was something that hit me when I was in my late 40's . It's tough enough on me , cause I love ice cream . I can't imagine being a kid and not having ice cream .

ice-cream - ice-cream is so delicious
I don't think so. Actually I don't think ice-cream will cause the upset stomach. Perhaps it's still cold now, so your little girl can't stand the cold from the ice-cream yet. It's better to eat ice-cream in the hot summer in my opinion:) I love China

When I first moved to Kentucky during the early '80s, there was a chain of ice cream stores called Farrels. They primarily specialized in birthday parties, but also sold many different types of ice cream. When I went there, they had an item called "the pig's trough" that, theoretically was for seven people. I ate an entire one myself and they gave me a special ribbon for it. I will admit, I had a stomach ache for almost a week from the sugar.

i donot know but icecreams are known to cause stomach upset,if they did not refrigerate it properly.anywaus, donot give much thought to it ,as sometimes children do fall ill, inspite of the precautions.

if you are here in the philippines and you will tell me that your child ate dirty ice cream then i can say that canbe a cause. but i am sure if ever your child has eaten ice cream i am sure it is the clean one. you can think of something your child ate that you did not ate. by checking that way you can think of what is the real cause of her tummy ache.

I think so because ice cream also has milk and as we know food with milk as ingredients could go bad if not stored properly. It could also be something that she had before she ate the ice cream or possibly she was just too full when she ate that ice cream.

what did your children eat before that? have you missed something? maybe there is some food that didn't good to take before eating an ice cream, so check some new food that your children never eat before, maybe it is also can make your child stomach doesn't feel well

My daughter has had an upset tummy when she's eat to much. Maybe she loved the icecream so much she continued to eat it even though she was full. That could cause it.
