on which day of the week do you eat out ?

Usually I eat out during pay days and when there is an occassion

I usually eat out on Friday with friends because I think it's happier to dine out with friends and catch up before weekend. But sometimes I could dine in without any dine out because of the tight budget and my plan to save some money!

Previously we used to eat out almost everyday; then we wanted to cut costs by cooking, so we eat out maybe twice a week. And it's no particular day; it's often when I don't have anything much in the fridge to cook, and I haven't gone grocery shopping yet.

We don't actually go out to restaurants very often, but when we do, Saturdays seem like the day that we go out the most on. Mostly because those of us who work are usually off pretty early, and most of us have Sunday off from work. So we can enjoy ourselves and know that we can take it easy the following day. Now for ordering take-out, Sundays have always been the day for that since I was a little kid. It just seems that since Sundays are the only day we all have off from work , we want to relax and enjoy it. So wether it's pizza or Chinese or just running for some chicken, Sundays seem like the no-cooking day.

We 'try' to eat out every Saturday or at least every other Saturday. Sometimes my ex husband takes the older 3 kids so we try to make a night of it because it has been a rarity lately otherwise we just all pile in the car and go. I also make it a point to order food every Friday night because my husband is on a bowling league on Friday nights so its just me and the kids and I cook just about every other night so I think I deserve a break :)
