So sweet of you Chairta! You appear so concerned and sympathetic towards your parents that you are planning a surprise gift for them in advance. If possible, buy them a air tickets for a 2-3 days trip to some tourist spot. Else, you get your mother/father a new mobile phone, if they use it. All the best.

I love your way to make something special for them ... Well how about something simple ... like a nice diner in a good restaurant and make sure you book a beautiful cake with a very small gift, it doesn't necessary to be something expensive, so the restaurant manager send both the cake and the gift to them just before finishing dinner. Oh and don't forget a sweet card. And for not being able to force them to go out by their own, I think you'll have more than a million idea, like tell them that you booked the restaurant only for two and you and your sister must go out to your friend's birthday. Or you know what, make it even more simple and do this diner at home. It' will be more comfy and family like. Happy 25th anniversary in advance.

I think you can make arrangements for a family get together,inviting your parent's best friends families and have a dinner with them.Or you shall arrange a surprise picnic to a nearest spot where all in your family can have a nice chat and in the end gift them what they like.Cheers!

I am lousy with gifts but I did give my mom a bunch of roses when she was still alive and she lit up like a thousand candles. She was so happy with the roses. Cheers!!

take a photo from ur parents marriage album put a frame and give it to them .i give to my mum and dad like this while seeing it both of them are so happy

Dear Chaitra, at first i would like to congratulate your parents for their silver jubilee of marraige life. actually your parents dont expect you to get them something. but you can make them happy by giving them a warm party, nice flowers or nice cake . ok ? i hope they will like that .

hi chaitra, I think it would be a nice idea to buy some heart shaped writing paper with heart shaped envelopes and write 25 notes to your parents telling them one well wish for their future or saying thanks for something special they have done for you or just expressing how much you love and appreciate them. Maybe you can find a heart shaped box to put these envelopes in and then present the box to your parents.
You can tell them to open one of these envelopes every morning for the next 25 days. As a special surprise I would hide a voucher for a meal at a nice restaurant in the 25th envelope which is at the bottom of the box.
