What are you afraid to lose?

Nothing belongs to me in this mundane world. so why should I afraid of loosing something. I came bare handed and go bare handed.

I have lost my job and my plants and I find that I have gained a lot of free time. I just came from practicing the piano and I do believe that I am getting better. I might become a pianist yet. cheers!!

Hello, seamotive, you are right, no matter job and love, or anything else, if you pursuit so hurry, maybe you would lose what you have got, especially the love.
It just like what the sutra said, "as good lost as found".
Easy for it, and you would do the best in another field.
Every profession produces its own leading authority.

I feel my kids are the only ones I am scared to death to loose them. I wis something should happen to me first before any harm comes to them. At times when I see the news and the bombings and the blasts and floods, I regret having them too in this crazy world. Its really luck if you make it all right to the age of 50 in this chaos called civilization. I love them too deeply and there is nothing that means more then them to me.

to me personal, i think the most thing i afraid to lose is my ambitions.
once someone is getting used to his/her normal life, he/she might forget his/her dream.forget to work, study hard,only stay still..
no matter how much money i can get, keeping upward heart would be the most important thing to me

with your ending asking statement of what my feeling is about pursuits and losses i think it is synonymous to trying and failing than never trying at all. we plan our lives and sacrifice a lot for our goals but sometimes fate seems to have a different plan for us. but this is what makes us who we are. imagine if we all turned out the way we planned: i bet you can find another one exactly like you in many places .
