One of the best horror films ever

Yeah, that film scared the crap out of me as well. If you liked the Grudge, try watching "The Ring". YIKES!

Yea the grudge, had a pretty good creepy factor, and I must admit it almost got me, but the only scarry film that ever really gave me the creeps is the thing, that film gave me the heeby jeebys for years, that music, and that crazy creature, and just the thought that something like that could take over your body and duplicate anything is just scarry to me. but movies today dont seem to have the same feel as ones made in the early to mid 80tys and 90tys its just not the same and the grudge is so far the only film that even came close to really scaring me, I guess its because Iv seen so many horror flix that I'm a little desensitised.

Oh and do you remember the name of that horror film where those two girls were in that mausoleum?

I like horror films very much. I always want to see horror films in dark.
My most favourite and always best horror film is "EVIL DEAD". This films gave me shock at my childhood. I really scarred very much in childhood after saw Evil dead film. Even that days i not going alone in bathroom or sleep alone.
In Hindi film i like always "BOOT" horrow film. this also make scarred anyone watch alone or watch in theater.

I think one of the best horror film is Ju-On A.K.A The Grudge(in US). This very really is breathtaking. I cannot sleep well 2-3 days after watched this film. BTW if you want to find another good horror movie you should try Shutter, this is scary from the beginning until the last scene. Damn.. this film make me hard to sleep, but i like horror film a lot.

Massive multiple chills down the spine! I'm surprised there's people who didn't like it! I saw it at 10 o'clock in the morning and still got scared stiff! And I've seen hundreds of thrillers/horror movies! For crying out loud,I'm 22!!! I mean, OK, voice acting, not particularly good, probably even b-movie-ish. But the genuine look of terror, the sound effects, the flow! From the very start, hitting you again and again with relentless, unforgiving, terrorising scenes! So many clichés yet none fails to surprise/scare! You know it's coming, it's coming, it's coming, BOO! and you still jump off the chair. Grab a pillow and a blanket, call your closest friend over and do not watch it at night! Hats off to the Japanese!
