What would you do if there was a Zombie Outbreak?

Zombies. Oh boy do these movies agitate me.

I would probably just go with the flow; and get the virus. It always seems as though the "good guys" in zombie movies end up being contaminated any way, so why not just skip the fight and enjoy the inevitable? Plus, being a zombie might have some advantages. For instance, you wouldn't have to worry about death, as you're already undead, and you wouldn't have to pay bills...

are we talking about night of the dead slow walking zombies or dawn of the dead track star zombies? slow zombies I'm probably gunna run around with a bat smacking skulls wearing football pads so its harder to bite me, fast zombies though, I'd have to say I'd break into a museum or something, steal a suit of armor put it on get weapons and clear the world of infection. That is if I survive long enough to get the suit of armor

I think I would first and foremost try to look for a cure for the virus. I don't think running away would solve anything and zombies, based on hollywood movies, have animal instincts. Which means that no matter how much you run, they'd get to you. Standing to fight though seems unreasonable to especially if I'm fairly certain that I have no chance against those brutal creatures. Finding a cure for it, however, sounds like a reasonable way to cure ourselves of the problem - a lot like I am Legend (starring Will Smith).

I have thought abought this before. and have a great plan. I live in BFE so it wouldnt get to me right away. I will know something is up at least a day or two before it gets out to were I live. So i would batten down. Buy some fence and put it up hopefully my neighbors would join me and live in a compound type thing till every thing blows over or we are over run lol. I already have a garden every year and can all that i grow from it. There would be a few things i would have to figure out like how to do without electric, cause my water pump needs it.

I would try to take in as many people as I safely could. That way there could be watches all day around. Also the more people there are the more we could plant and grow. Also who wants to be stuck with no one but there emediate faily for who knows how long! No one else to talk to would make you crazy.

If only firearms were easily accessible in the country I live in. Getting a "clean" license is hard unless your life is being/has been threatened or you're a member of one of those gun clubs with expensive membership fees OR RICH. Back on topic: This has been dream ever since I was kid! I'd daydream about it happening all the time. Thanks for bringing it up. Anyway, I think I would just resort to running and avoiding zombies as much as I can. Also, find strong men to help protect me and people with good shooting abilities who have guns. (I'm such a weakling, I know.)=.= I'd probably just serve as a medic for non-viral injuries. We'd try to get out of the contaminated area as fast as possible as well since the goverment/other country's government/s might nuke the whole place just like in Resident Evil. I wouldn't want to get caught up in the explosion now, would I?
