Despite the losses at home & India, Australia was & is a good team. & despite the win they are no way near being a great team. This series is more about South African bowlers being jaded. A bowling attack that lets johnson score century has got it's strategy & focus wrong. One can surely say that Australia was certainly the motivated team among the two. Even in the home series that they lost to south Africa, there were very close matches but the end results were in SA's favour. So this result is not that shocking Or against the tide. These are two evenly matched teams & the more focused team on that day will come out victorious.

Australia is a great team. They have been the no. 1 side in the world cricket for a decade now. They lost it temporarily and got it back in no time. After the couple of bad series, everybody labelled the Australians as declining and it was very astonishing to hear, very frankly.. Infact, Austraian cricket was in a state of transition. The players, the Modern Legends, like Shane Warne, Glenn Mcgrath, Adam Gilchrist, Matthew Hayden, Justin Langer, Damien Martyn, they all retired and to replace all of them is a very very hard task, if not impossible. Young players needed some time to gasp the International stage but Australian domestic Cricket is so rich that they have shown they have all the replacements except a genuine master spin bowler i should say. So, they are back now. New side, young players and as Brett lee and Stuart Clark will return, it will further lift their morals and the manner of their win against South Africa in South Africa and watching all the new talent, I expect Australia to still dominate the world cricket for many years to come...

South africa was really hampered due to the injury to graeme smith and the aussies took full advantage of it. So they got a bit lucky but they will find it tough in the ashes series with a young side
