Can my old Dictionary cd-rom ( for wins 95/98 ) be read in windows xp ?  

It should run. But in case it won't, just right-click the executable file, click properties and under compatibility, check the tickbox to run it in windows 98 compatibility mode, click ok and double-click the file to see if it would run perfectly now.

I think it can work. Just insert it to your CD-ROM and find the setup or install file. Just have a try!

I think it will work...if not then...connect CD-ROM>start PC>right click on My Computer>Hardware>Device Manager>...if XP detects it...it will display it in other devcies with question mark or exclamation mark...try to update its drivers...search in google for it's compatible drivers on XP...good luck...
