Horror films - Scary or just gory?

I personally think Hollywood spends too much time focusing on the blood versus a story that actually scares you.

so true. i lovvvveeee a good scary movie. not many out there that actually scare you. maybe that new one with sarah michelle gellar will be scary.

I think the scariest films are the ones where people die, but they don't necessary show the person dying. One that comes to mind is Darkness Falls. That movie legitimately scared me.

I have yet to see one that really scares me lately. Most of them just seem to show a lot of blood shed. That's more of an action film than a horror film.

I like horror films but I never scaried to see them. I think that they are only a fiction!
