What is your opinon on prophesy? What is your opinion this one?

I think it is partly due to that. If you think of what helped cause this problem is was a lot of unethical things that where being done. It was not illegal but very, very unethical.

Of course Asia(China) and Europe (Russia) are on the rise,. In Revelation, the Gog-Mag and the Kings of the East will do their best to 'destroy' Israel. China and Russia are already increasing their armies by the numbers. They are also building their arsenals (RPG's and whatever other weapons they conjure up) to advance on Israel. (This was not meant to sound sarcastic, sorry).

That is very scary but I must say that a magazine even the Bible is interpreted according to the person writing the magazine article. No-one really knows what God means or has planned. That is where faith that He will do right by us comes into play.

I love sound, biblical prophecy. I listen to Christian based prophecy radio and TV shows all the time. I have always had a facination with prophecy. I will never predict when Christ will return though. No man knows the day or the hour so it is a mute point to speculate. But, I can tell you that Jesus will come as a thief in the night. “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night” (1 Thess. 5:2).

Hi eaforeman6! Most people interpret the Bible in different ways and maybe that was their basis in saying those prophesies. It is scary when other people predict the future like that but I do believe that it could just be a warning to change our ways and to better ourselves. God is a Good God, a forgiving and merciful God and will always welcome His prodigal sons back in His Arms. I haven't read this particular article but the person who wrote it is the one who has the view I would say. There are so many out there who claim to have the gift of prophesy and although I do believe that such a gift exists it is open to personal interpretation and unfortunately deception. I don't know if we, as human beings can have the answer to the world's happenings. I don't believe God is punishing America, there may be valuable lessons for mankind in this experience but I don't see it as punishment, but that's only my opinion.
