Nagging wife put up for sale

A British builder got so fed up with his wife's nagging that he put her up for sale in a trade magazine.
It all came to a head when she snapped at her husband while watching Dancing on Ice on telly.
He placed the advert in trade-it magazine. The ad read "Nagging Wife. No Tax, Not MOT. Very high maintenance - some rust."
He put it in the free to collector section.
He was inundated with calls from men offering to take her off his hands which surprised him as he didn't think anyone would ring.
His wife laughed at the anonymous advert at first before finding out that it was about her.
She did forgive him in the end, but not before giving him a ear bashing, but is now out for revenge.

Hey littleone! I know this is a joke, but I don't really think
that it is funny when you really think about it. They have
only been married for one year and it isn't the first marriage
for either one of them. If this keeps up I don't know if their
marriage will really last or not! It might start out as a joke
now, but there is alot of underlying truth to this and it
might come out later on in this not so perfect marriage. I
hope that they make it!

It doesn't sound like a good basis for a marriage either to me. I hope they make it as well.

I think if Hubby did that with me, he'd better enter the Witness Protection program b/c he'd be in big trouble. I wouldn't do something like that...if I was that fed up with him, I'd divorce him and find someone new. Good thing I love him and we get along pretty good.
