This discussion may be targeted at non Indians, but i could not resist myself as dosa happen to be my favorite breakfast too. I make it a piont to feed dosas to all my international guests. No one has ever complained. Of late, a chef friend of mine from Canada has started experimenting with Mexican & Italian stuffing inside the dosa. he also tried three layered Dosa like a lasagna. and the results were fantastic. Even a dosa lover like me was surprised at the versatility of this product. I would like to differ on one point though; I look at dosa as a all time healthy snack instead of reducing it to just a breakfast Item.

Hi rubypatson, In south India Dosa is had for breakfast regularly, almost on a daily basis. I too prepare Dosas atleast thrice a week for breakfast or at other times. Once the batter is ready, it can be kept in the fridge for 3-4 days and whenever one feels like Dosa can be made..

Yes I have had dosa many times before and I really like it! I have had it with potato subji inside and with chutney and sambar all together! I like mine especially spicey, but then I do like foods with a lot of chilli in them anyway!
