any one know how to cook thai tom yam

hi anyone know how to cook Thai tom yam? i cooked a few time before but the taste don't taste like Thai .
i saw some recipe ,but it seem like some thing missing or i cooked wrongly
i went to some restaurant and try ,some store cooked sweet ,and totally out of the taste.
but if the cook is from Thai ,it taste the same as Thailand.

I love Thai food and have only tried to cook it as couple of times, but as I have learnt you just can't cook the different culture foods like they cook it themsleves...so I always buy my international foods from the people who know best...I only tried the tom yum soup once and it was way too hot for me...I wondered what hit me in the first spoon full....

i love spicy food . once i went to restautant i try the tom yum, is very spicy and lot of spices ,the way i see on the soup don't look anything hot. but when you drink it .. is very spicy i love it
