How have Democrats or Republicans helped our country?

Has the party title, distracted us from looking out for the overall best for our country? Are we party blind? We have seen both parties hold long terms and what did it get us. Maybe we should have been focusing on the right man, and not any party title. Why do we need the titles? It will always cause division , not unity. It also has failed us. The conditions of the economy are the proof of that. People argue over party and who's the best and food prices were going up long before the last two presidents. Our national debt was increasing long ago, the trend to borrow had started. This downhill trend orginated long ago. It didnt happen overnight.

They have not. They are one in the same. Always have been and always will be. The majority of these 'liars' are in some type of secret society: The Bilderburgs, The CFR, The Trilateral Commission, etc. They honestly could care less about us 'little people'. That is why the bank 'scandal' is going as planned. You see, if the banks all go belly up, they will all be government owned. Once the banks are all government owned, out nation is history. And....the New World Order will have begun...think I am looney....check it out.....this stuff is real and far more dangerous than any 'normal joe or josephine' could image...

I know that you are NOT looney. I agree, which is why I said, no matter who gets in, which ever party, they have all been guilty of leading us down this road. I do know that God will not ever approve of the sin in congress and condone the abuse of funds and other things. The commandments of rightous leadership are very specific as far as what God requires of a leader.

In the old days, both parties were closer to the center than they are now. There is a big divide between the two now. Democrats=big government, more taxes, more programs. Republicans= smaller government, less taxes, less social programs. These of course are their ideals. What they stand for. That's not always the way things end up necessarily but this is the platform of each party. They are pretty far apart now. I think if people "in the middle" would pick a side, we would actually see one party or the other reach their goals and then we could really get something done. At least this is my opinion.

Thats a very interesting point of view. It does make you think about how many people will always be in the middle or not n it at all. Apprecite your response and thats really food for thought.
