Jennifer Aniston to be the next Bond Girl?

I have just read an article that indicates that Miss Aniston plans to set up a meeting with casting execs to costar in the next James Bond movie, along with Daniel Craig.
They met at a party, and onlookers stated that the way they acted, you'd assume they were old friends, and that they ALSO make a very attractive couple, Daniel was with his girlfriend that night also, so they meant onscreen couple, not real life couple, but who knows? As Miss Aniston is also now single due to a recent breakup with John Mayer (I didn't quite like them together as a couple, they just didn't seem right, John wasn't giving Jennifer the attention she deserved!)
NOW, as for Miss Aniston being a Bond Girl? I will be overly impressed if she pulls it off, mainly because for SOME reason? I just can't stop seeing her as Rachel from "Friends". And that's all I see, her mannerisms as Rachel, as a Bond Girl, and I can't describe it at all! lol.
I have seen her other work, and was also surprised that she can change the way we see her apart from her Friends character.
Hrm.....wonder if Ross will show up as a Neo German Nazi....?

they (john and jen) broke up.. ugh i dont want her to be a bond girl. i am so sick of seeing her everywhere.. i dont see anything special in her but im obviously in the minority lol.. if she does it it will just kill my opinion on the bond movies

I mean it's been quite a few years
tabloids and gossip magazine should leave them alone

you must not read any celebrity magazines lol.. shes in every one of them.. she just had the marley and me and hes just not that into you come out.. not to mention her little petty crap with angelina jolie that was everywhere for a few months straight

I think that's a very very good idea whoever thought of it. She is a very sexy forty year old woman and has done pretty well leaving her rachel tv personality behind. I really liked her in marley and me and I think she has a sexy bad girl side which she showed in her pictures with the tie?...I can't remember which magazine that was though-maxim? Anyway, I think more poeple will want to watch bond movies especially those who haven't gotten into them yet when they know of the girls who are in them.

Well, I must say, I haven't seen any of the Craig Daniel bond movies yet. Was going to see Casino Royale, but then I heard it's boring and horrible. And didn't see Quantum yet either, but I heard that was a greater improvement in comparison. Aniston IS a sexy woman, I agree.
I unfortunately don't recall the picture you're referring to, but fully believe she can be presented as sexy, especially if they gave her a little punky ponytail hairstyle, I can picture a corset of some type on her, heck even with a black thin tie. YEP. It would be very hot.

Casino Royale wasn't boring at all...Quantam Solace I slept through though, and the girl wasn't that hot. Anniston is a tv icon of our era; when people go back and look through all teh bond girls at their best, I think anniston will represent this era very nicely.

hi candymarie, i read in the newspaper a couple of days back that not Jennifer Aniston but, Freida Pinto, the Indian actress who starred in this years Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire was slated to be the next Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig. I don`t know how far it is going to be true but whoever gets the part good luck to them.lol

I agree with others that I don't see Jennifer Aniston as a bond girl. It would be very unusual. But if Halle Berry was a Bond girl, so can Aniston I guess. Is she the favorite to get the part in the new movie? She will always be Rachel from "Friends".

REALLY? You didn't think Halle Berry was a good bond girl? Do you not recall the scene where she was coming out of the water at the beach? That was hawt!
But yes, I agree, she always will be Rachel, which might suck for her when she wants a different type of role that's not "The Girl Next Door".

I think Jennifer Aniston is one of the greatest actress I had seen. Friends is one of my favorite TV shows. I think she had done very good in the TV show Friends. I am looking forward to see the new Bond movie to see how she is doing in the movie. I think she can easily adapt to new role very well because she is a born actress.

I guess it's all up to those people that make decision
I didn't watch much of Bond movies that Craig starred in so I don't think it would matter who will be Bond girl to me
she might be famous as Rachel but she is an actress so she supposed to be able to pull off any acts expected of her anyway
I read about the break up too but it shouldn't have anything to do with her career
it's her personal life

Yeah, I haven't watched Craig as Bond yet either.
And you are correct, but unfortunately because of her role as Rachel, and her other roles in the movies, it seems hard for her to shake the mannerisms of Rachel.
Sorry if it seem like I was indicating that her personal life mattered to her career (which it actually does in a way with EVERYONE), I was just making a side-note.

I like Jennifer Aniston but I don't think she would fit to be the next bond girl. She's just not that daring and bold enough because like what you said, she still looks like rachel from friends! I hope she can pull this one off so she can show brad what his missing! harhar!

Whoa now, it's just a rumor as of now, just from my little daily gossip thingy in my email, and wanted to pass it on.
And really? You don't see Jennifer as a bond girl? Have you seen her in "The Good Girl" with Jake Gyllenhaal? I was impressed that she could play a good serious, kinda dark character.
All in the eye contact man, all in the eyes. THIS is what makes a true bond girl.

Jennifer Aniston to be the next Bond girl????? Oh my god.... this is so awesome. Yeah i kinda too always see her as friends but i feel that this role would be great for her. Even though now i can't really see her as the 'typical' bond girl I would like to see Jennifer Aniston play the bond girl. I think it will be a good move

I can't see Jennifer Aniston as a bond girl at all! She is way too sweet, girl next door type, I think. If she can pull off the attitude that all bond girls have I will be impressed. Course, I'd also be impressed if James Bond decided to go after a different type of girl alltogether! Haha, think he will settle down any time soon? Maybe fall in true love? Hahahaha. Good post though, makes you stop and think.

Yes there was talk of her as well, but again, at the time I heard of Jennifer Aniston being a bond girl, it was still as a rumor.

I hpe she doesn't get too be a Bond girl, not that I have anything against her but the curse of Friends will no doubt strike. I have watched a lot of films which star the cast of friends and not once could I get out of my head that I was either watching Joe, Ross, Chandler etc etc. That's the trouble with making it so big in one are you will forever be seen as that character.
For me she should stick to what she already does, mainly rom-coms or even better bring back Friends.

lol, too true, BUT! I will suggest to you "Band of Brothers". David Schwimmer is in it (Ross) and his character development is AMAZING! I wasn't sure I'd be able to watch it, mostly because I never was too much into war movies, but OH MY GOSH! I loved it! You absolutely end up LOATHING his character. lol
