Those have been here for a while know pretty well how I have always felt about our entanglement with this holier than thou, globalist, wannabe-dictatorial cartel we call the United Nations. The secretary general's remarks that the U.S. is a "deadbeat" is just the latests in a long train of insults, attempted usurptions, bizzare ideology and other outragous words and actions. A poll by rasmusen now shows that 65 percent of the population in theis country think the U.N. is doing a poor job. But more notable is the figure in this poll that has 25% of the population now wanting out of the U.N. altogether. There has always been a small perentage of the population that has been opposed to membership but this is a signifigant shift, I actually find it heart warming. SO again, I demand of our government....Cancel our memberhsip and Throw the useless bums off of our soil!

xfahctor another great topic. The worst thing the rockerfellers ever did was give this piece of land to the UN. If we could get out i would so be on board. The last thing i want for this country is to have to get agreement from France or Germany on anything. The UN has out lived what ever use it had since WWII

Well, the U.N. not being a united states citizen, it wouldn't be that hard to get back. They are a foriegn interest. What are they oging to do if we sieze it, send in UN troops? ....ooooh no not that, I'm scared! ROFLMAO!!!!

I think a large chunk of America doesn't even really know what the UN is for, or how it really operates. They have a really good PR department. If we can bring light to what the UN actually does, maybe we can get rid of them. Better yet, we can dissolve the whole thing.

We can't bring to light what they do, they don't do anything, but pretend they do stuff...

Only 25%? I would have thought it would be a lot more. I have yet to see anyone who supports the U.N. besides members of the U.N. We could get a lot of the money back we have wasted on them if we throw the bums out and turn the U.N. building into apartments.

The U.N. is not so bad, but all the U.N program is good, except for the security council. It make the whole U.N is bad.
