what went wrong in wwe during the past 6 years?  | |  hi friends.i am still watching wwe but i havent watched a single episode between the years 2004 and 2008.i some times read certain news about wwe but it is not the way its used to be.what the reason?because some big names left the industry?it happens all the time .is it because of bad script? or is it because its made PG 13? why cant i hear the same crowd reaction these days?if i want to hear them,i go to youtube and watch some of rocks videos.what went wrong?

Also, I've read that Vince wants his show to be written so that it entertains him and not the fans. I've read that Paul Heyman (who once was on the creative team) has had his disagreements with Vince and Steph. It seems that Vince has lost touch with the audience and doesn't like people to say, "No, that's a bad idea, Vince." I am not a fan of WWE going PG 13. I have to wonder if it weren't for the Benoit tragedy, if they'd be going in that direction. I've also read about Linda McMahon running for the Connecticut board of Education, so that has something to do with it. Another thing-there's only so many times they can do John Cena vs. Edge and Randy Orton vs. Triple H programs before people get tired of it. Everyone should know HHH's role in the company and he should be putting over younger stars, because eventually the company will belong to Triple H and Steph. IMO, they should get Stone Cold on the creative team. Maybe Vince would listen to him.

The "Attitude" era was the great because Vince was trying to compete with WCW and the unlimited funds of Ted Turner. TNA has the best shot at bringing out the WWE by competeing with them but I don't see it happening. They have the star power (Angle, Booker, Sting, Foly, Styles, Samoa Joe, Nash, etc.) but their storylines are terrible. The WWE is not a bad product at all currently, it's just as good as it was from 1997-2002. | |
