How to reformat my HP 530 laptop?

I have a 2 year old HP 530 laptop and I really love this laptop. But lately I have a problem with this laptop it became very slow my friends say my laptop need to reformat to become faster again for me to be able to use it in good condition and in the faster way. I told them to reformat my laptop but they don't know how to do it and they accompany me to find someone who knows how to reformat it but the person we we're looking was not home and will be away for 5 months. I can't wait that long because I can't use my laptop its very slow and I can't work in my online sites using this laptop in this condition. I am posting this discussions and it takes me almost an hour before I was able to post it because its really slow. Anyone here in mylot knows how to reformat this kind of laptop? Please help me I need to reformat it and I think I can do it by myself with the right information and instruction. Can you help me mylot friends. Anyone here knows how to reformat this kind of laptop? Can you share me and teach me how to do it in step by step procedure. Please. Thank you very much for all your help.

Hi mhae15.. Welcome back to mylot. I never seen you posting forquite a long time. Good to see you again. Regarding your problem your friends are right. Your laptor needs to be reformat to become faster again but I think you can't do it by yourself because to be able to reformat a computer theres a certain code and installer needed. You really need to find someone who knows how to do it because they certainly have the necessary installer needed. Maybe you can find someone who can reformat your laptop at any computer school nearest you. Try to ask some help from them you just need to pay for their services. Hope I can help you with that. Actually you can reformat your own computer. I have not reformatted a hard drive since windows 98 when I used to do it all the time. I cannot give you step by step instructions as they might be dated and get you into trouble that I am not prepared to spend the time getting you out of. If you are that unfamiliar with computers you have to ask you may not be ready to do it your self.
