How often do you go to Barnes and Nobles, or Borders shop for a book? My friend and I usually go there browsing for books. We probably shop for 1 or 2 books a year. Most of the time, We just pick some interesting books, bought a cup of coffee, sitting there for most of the day. How both of the bookstores manage to make money from people like us? Do other people shop a lot from there? Most of them just like us, they pick a book or two sitting there for the whole day, reading free books.

I go to Barnes and Nobles more than Borders, but it is only just because of location for me right now... we use to go to Borders before when we lived over by it... I have to say I probably go once a month and I will buy myself a gift card and one book... and this way I can also purchase my books online as well.... I read several series so I have at least a book a month that comes out... sadly I am very behind in my reading right now since I have been focusing alot on my house and doing online sites....LOL happy reading!! and happy mylotting!

All the time! Several times a week at least. My preference if Barnes and Noble but I do go to Borders for a change of scene once in a while. I also love some of the local independent books stores as well. Like you, I often go for a coffee and then I wonder around the store just looking for something that interests me.

We actually went to Borders this past weekend. We dont go to book stores that often. We do go to the library every week though. It is much cheaper to borrow then to buy new.We have kids so just sitting there reading doesnt really work for us.

I don't shop at bookstores like those very often, because there aren't any very close to me. I love bookstores. I like the vibe of them. They're calm and relaxing. I don't actually buy many books from bookstores. They can be quite pricey. When I do buy books there it's either Christmas presents or I buy books that are on clearance.
