A few months ago I went to do a little shopping and I came across one of those bins of DVD's that are all like, five bucks. You know those, the movies that didn't sell! But when people see DVD's for five dollars, they re-evaluate their opinion on the movie. Anyway, so I saw Carrie in there, and I couldn't believe that I found it for five dollars!
Well, when I got home and put it on, I found that it was a remake. The DVD case even had almost the SAME picture on it. It fooled me!
I decided to give it a shot. Worst idea ever. Carrie actually goes online and googles telekenisis! What the hell is that!?
Who else has seen this movie? I can't believe I wasted five dollars on it.
The moral of this story? If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I didn't know they remaked it either. I wouldn't want to see a remake though. Thats how i am with most movies. Also i think telekenisis is the ability to move things with you mind and not physically.

I know what telekenisis is, I just think it is absolutely ridiculous that she is GOOGLING it on the internet. The original movie was great because it made you feel like her home was sort of creepy. It had a quiet feel to it, almost felt behind the times because of how her mother acted when she wanted to go to the prom. The fact that they show her on the internet changes the feel that she gave me.

I saw the movie but I don't remember it. I just remember that it tried to modernize the movie. I didn't care for it.
And them 5 dollar bins are super cheap because the store couldn't make no money off of it. Nobody liked the movie. Then again I know some dudes who love to get movies out of the 5 dollar bin and used bin. So one man's garbage is another man's treasure.
