I hope someone knows this plant. The plant is 1 foot tall - full grown. It has leaves 1 to 3 inches and leaves color is green and pink.
I added an image of the plant for this discussion. Please help name this plant.

It is a sunflower and it can grow a lot taller than that. Some grow over 4 feet tall. We see a lot of them in Alberta, Canada in the late summer and early fall.

It is not the sunflower I am talking about its the picture of the plant at the right corner of my discussion. The sunflower is my avatar.
