More live action Star Wars films, please!!! | | | | Ever since 1977, I have been a HUGE Star Wars fan. I enjoyed all 6 of the live action films, but the Clone Wars films left me very unhappy. I know George Lucas originally intended for 9 films to be made, but he only made 6. Come on! There's so much more to be told in the universe that Lucas created. I would love to see the film adaptations of the New Jedi Order series and the Legacy of the Force series as well as any future Star Wars writings, but only if it's live action. So, what do all you other Star Wars fans think? Should there or should there not be more live action Star Wars movies? | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Yes, I think there should be more films. It would be interesting to say the least. With the constant advances in filming it could go to the next level. The sky is the limit. | | | | | | | | | | Soft Spots Shoes Buy Soft Spots Shoes Now, and Pay Later with Our Credit Plan! www.masseys.com | add comment | | | |

| | Well, to continue the storyline, it is Star Wars: Truce at Bakura. That probably would be Star Wars: Episode 7, but it wouldn't be interesting enough to actually be made into a movie. I think that it would be hard to continue a Star Wars live action movie because the books have taken over all the storyline to the Legacy of the Force. And I wonder why they haven't made a series in the books after that. But yeah, I really love the Star Wars movies, they're probably the most interesting things besides the wonderful Star Wars games; Force Unleashed is awesome. But yes, there should be Star Wars Movies; live action. Let's say, after the Legacy of the Force; 200 years after the sixth film!!! | | I've always been a big fan of Star Wars as well, but I must say that 1, 2 and 3 really left me feeling disappointed. It was as if they thought they could sacrifice dialogue and deep characters for the flashy special effects. I'll admit, the fight scenes WERE cooler in the new ones, but the film as a whole left much to be desired. What is up with the Skywalker boys never knowing how to act? In every film, the men of the Skywalker clan bugged me. I really admire Ewan McGregor as Obi-wan because he actually studied the way Alec Guinness talked, and tried to emulate that. Unfortunately, he was given lines the likes of "Good call, my young padowan!" That one made me cringe. I would be interested in seeing more live action Star Wars films, provided they tried to go back to the old formula for the characters while utilizing the new fighting styles in the new movies. The Clone Wars animated movie upset me the whole time. The young girl in it reminded me far too much of Miley Cyrus, and the world has one too many of those as it is. The Skywalkers should never, EVER be referred to as "Sky Guy" ever again. Ever. Period. It was almost as bad as JarJar. *Shudders* | | | | | | | | Mgoodson (44)

| | Miley Cyrus and (SHUDDER!) Jar Jar Binks in the same comment? BLASPHEMY! LOL! I agree, Aeris! 1, 2, and 3 just wasn't what I wanted or expected. Ewan McGregor did a very good Obi-Wan but, like you said, he was given crappy dialogue. Thanks for your response! | | | | | rastagirl17 (43)

| | Eeeewww. Ahsoka Tano... is the most .... ANNOYING creature in the world. Actually, when I think about it, I'm just as annoyed with Miley Cyrus. Wow, thanks for worsening the face of Ahsoka for me. Too bad she was beginning to be a good padawan in the series. Haha. | | | | | | | | | Buy Pokemon, Magic Cards Huge selection CCG Singles & Decks. | | I would also like to see more live action but I think Lucas promised that he'll never make another Star Wars film, not by anyone else, ever. I wanted but I guess there's no hoping for that. I've been having Star Wars drought since the last movie so I've been resorting to different media like games, toys, costumes, clothing, art and believe it or not that new Clone Wars series. Yes the movie was bad, but don't treat it like the live action films. No that's impossible. Treat it like the first episode of a children's tv show. If you persevere, you'll be able to watch the first few episodes of the 3D animated series and eventually, you will be rewarded with some good, thrilling and interesting episodes. It's been sustaining me. I would love to see the expanded universe in live action. Though it's interesting to see the rebirth of the Jedi and the development of Han and Leia, I am most interested in seeing the actor versions of Jacen, Jaina, Anakin Solo and Ben Skywalker. But for now, drawings in book covers are all I have. Oh well, it's okay to hope. | | | | | | | | Mgoodson (44)

| | Never hurts to hope, rastagirl. Besides, long after George is gone, fans like us will always be there to keep Star Wars alive and kicking in one form or another. Thanks for the comment and May the force.... well, you know! | | I completely agree!! I am completely crazy about Star Wars and what fan would not want more live action Episodes?! However, I think that overall, the six episodes are very complete and well rounded. They really cover every aspect of the story from Anakin and Padme growing up to Luke and Leia growing up, Anakin turning to the Dark Side then in the end seeing the good in him again as Luke watches his father die, then at the end of Return of the Jedi Luke seeing the ghosts of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin was a great ending. While I would love to see more and more, the way Lucas made these six, I think making the story continue may take away from the way everyone thinks of Star Wars. There would be no Darth Vader, no Yoda, no Obi-Wan, etc. | | | | | | | | Mgoodson (44)

| | True. But it would be nice to see big screen adaptations of the New Jedi Order and Legacy of the force series of books. | | | | | | | Action Figure Looking For Action Figure? Find It Nearby With Local.com! Local.com | add comment | | | |

| | According to sites I have visited over the last few years there is a long term plan to do three more star wars movies. They will be based about the time Darth Vader's grandchildren become Jedi knights and will be more based around our youngest Anikin. As I am sure it will follow the story line I am looking forward to them and I am sure I will cry at the death of the young hero and Chewie, but I did when I read the books. (Note: I am a cryer) As an avid book fan I have read almost every book ever approved by the offical star wars "George Lucas". There are a few books that are hard to get as they are no longer in print, so thank goodness for ebay. I do wonder as they are about the subjects of the next series if they will be reprinted at the time. I know that I have read that the X-Wing Series was the worst selling of the series included in the saga, but I loved them and would love to see a series or movies about them. Mr. Lucas says he needs more in his life than Star Wars so he has to take a break of several years between sets of movies. I do not blame him for not wanting to give up control as this is his one of his babies. There is onlyl one way to end the comment: "May the Force be with you". | | | | | | | | | | Lego Star Wars Cheap Prices and Huge Selection. | | what i would love to see is what George Lucas had in mind when he wanted to make 9 parts but i also want to see Darth Vader in action in all the parts off that trilogy because now we can all see how he can fight because off the advancements in film and cgi technology. and as a fan i would love to see a new Star Wars live action movie every year. with all the characters we love, in it. lets hope and pray. | | | | | | | | | | Star Wars Collectibles Hot Deals on 3,000+ Star Wars Toys, Costumes, Collectibles and More! www.NexTag.com/Star-Wars | add comment | | | |

| | I agree, I would love to see the novels of the EU brought to the big screen! It would be interesting to see the Jedi struggling against the Vong on the big screen! The deaths of Chewie and Anakin! But before all of that, they would need to show the weddings of the Solos and Skywalkers. Maybe do a weekly live series, instead? Star Trek has that, so why not Star Wars. They've had cartoons, so why not a live series? | | | | | | | | | | Star Wars Brand new, used, refurbished, unlocked, no contract available cellphonefresh.com | add comment | | | |
