when i saw Alexis last night singing that song, I can tell that her voice was tired. Cara was right when she said Alexis was a little pitchy because her voice was tired, it was so obvious. I like her, though. she was so pretty and cute.

Kind of my point, if you're with somebody who doesn't return your feelings the same way, he already isn't yours. It's not that the other woman is stealing him.

And yea, Alexis wasn't at the top of her game but she certainly wasn't the worst the other night either.

Adam's rendition kind of reminded me of the Beatle's India period. I thought it was interesting but I don't see myself buying the CD. But I really like him too.

But do those women steal those men or was there something wrong with the man and/or the relationship to begin with? That sort of where I was going with that...

As for the man stealing........country folk don't dance to the same drummer (lol) and so it could have been the man, but more than likely it was just the woman deciding she had more going on than the SO of the man of her choice and decided to strut her stuff. You know men. They'll follow what the little brain says more often than the larger one! LOL

I thought she had a sister named Jolene? Could be wrong about that, but I remember an interview on tv with Dolly years back and the name Jolene came up and I took note of it because I'd never heard it before.........

OK I had to Google it. Dolly has apparently given a couple different explanations for the inspiration for the song, but the most common one has to do with an attractive bank teller who was flirting with her husband. But no siblings with that name...

Sometimes they are really not looking. There are women who make it their hobby to come on to men. Especially married ones. They throw themselves at them. Show up at your door. Call your hubby for a favor etc. Kind of hard for a man to ignore that kind of woman. A man would do the same if another man was trying to woo his wife.

I suppose there are, but you'd wish that a guy would not fall for that foolishness!

I like Adam a lot. And yeah they do have a good group. Nobody to hate this year, just a few people that I don't like as much as others.
