talk about high school days... its the most unforgetable days in our live because that is the time for us to learn become mature people, the transition period from elementary and being prepared to the college life.
When you were in high school, who was your favorite teacher?
In what subject? What makes him/her your favorite one?
For me, my favorite teacher during high school is sir Arnold Lukas. He is a biology teacher, that is popular until this present time as "sun go kong" teacher because wherever he goes, he always bring his "magic stick" to fly. Hahaha.
He always call himself as sun go kong or monkey magic. Do you know the chinese legend for the monkey, monk, pig, and a monster that travel around the world, they kill the bad monster and satan that will make people suffer. So, Sir arnold is the monkey magic... He is a jokes master... everytime he enters the class, he is so funny and i will get stomach cramp because of too much laugh.
But dont think that this teacher is funny and the quizes are easy... its killing me! He is really a killer monkey... If he ask student about the lesson, and also anything out of the lesson, and if the student cant answer, he will use his magic stick and give them "magic sickness"-- you know what i mean.
"call me... monkey magic or kera sakti (bahasa indonesia) or else you will die!!!"
that is his motto. In our secondary high, there are many classes for every grade. Grade 1 has 10 classes 1.1-1.10, the same also with 2nd year, and 3rd year. and for 1.1,1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2 are the class sections with highest population for smart and diligent person, that is why, everyone is struggling to enter section 1 and 2 because those are the most "interest" section. Most teachers enjoy to teach those sections because the students are smart compare to other section...
The story here, when i was in 1st year i got section 1.10 because i got sick during entrance exam... and 2nd year to 3rd year, i belong to these "interest" section. Mr Arnold or SIr sun go kong called me the newborn goddess because i was a monster that metamorphosed into goddess... ahahha crazy teacher.
He is also teaching genetics and i was his favorite student. One time, he was tired to teach genetics because twice he taught the student about the genes, the students still cant understand the lesson. So, he chose me to teach the students.
"Manya... you go to section 2.7 and 2.9, teach them lesson about mendellian law... i will give you additional points! Hmm... you're a goddess, remember that. teach them properly hah? im lazy to enter the room..."
What sir???? i was so shy, im really good in genetics? aha... but i did the same. and he really added my points... everytime i go back to my hometown, i always want to meet this teacher. I wonder if he is still crazy like before. i hope he is in good health... doing well... with his magic stick in his hand while he walking around the school.

I think my favorite of all was Mr. Hill, it was History in college. He was so funny, and the way he told the stories I was always riveted, and really paid attention. He retired not long ago.
My other favorite was Mr. Zak, high school science. He was just really cool. I remember he went racing out of class one day because his wife was ready to have a baby. He also had a pet tarantula named Ursula.

 my1341 (379) | 10 months ago |  My favourite teacher in high school is a man who taught us Chinese then. He was a middle-aged man and was also the vice-president of our school. He was very intelligent and talented. His lessons were very interesting and most got our attention. I never felt tired and bored at his lessons. I learned a lot from all his lessons. He had a wide range of knowledge covering all areas like geography,astronomy, literature, philosophy,mathematics,physics. I really appreciated his hard work in study which made himself so great a man. I leared from other teachers that he spent seven continuous months for the entrance examination of college reviewing all the books of high school. He only have two hours for sleeping every night during those seven months.

My favorite teacher was Mr Spector in my high school days. He was my dance Teacher and he was so amazing and so good that i wanted to be just like him. I knew alot of the stuff he was teaching as i was in dance for 10 years or more before i entered his class in high school. He was just like us kids as he was only in his twenties teaching us. We could leave his class and go to the store but we always had to bring him back something. He wouldnt even mind, he was alot of fun and sometimes we didnt dance but just gossip about everyone and everything going in the lower dance classes. I enjoyed that class so much and miss it as i would go back in a heart beat.

| 4. cjforeverknight (340) | 10 months ago |  My favorite teacher was my English teacher, Mrs. Mabry. Even though English was my worst subject, I struggled to make a B. I worked harder than anyone in the class but still no higher than a B. Same thing with Math, some of the students didn't have to study at all or hardly show up for class but would pass with A+. I was always in class & completed all assignments but never could get anything above a B. One boy in class said I studied too hard, LOL!!!

| 5. abanerji (902) | 10 months ago | high school days are for sure unforgettable. well, i used to like my maths teacher. mrs Dandpani. she was very strict and used to call to the board to solve questions in front of the class. when we were unable to solve them we were punished. her style of punishment was unique. she would never sscold or beat. she would just ask the students to take five rounds of the 200 mt. track. once the running was complete. the student was allowed to sit in the class. she used to peep from the class room window if we were cheating or not.
when the student used to get back to the class room she used to arrange for some water and asked the student to sit under the fan.
as a teacher she had to punish us for our mistakes but then she even cared for us. | |

She taught all the fascinating things and places about the continents and countries. That actually made me want to tarvel all over the world. And, every time I travel to new places these days, I think of her and feel so grateful!

I like all many of my high school teacher. they all were kind and more helpful to me in all sense. I can ask them any sort of doubts in studies. Even I have asked them about my dreams too. But they answered all the questions like my dad with care and affection. They wished me to get more marks. The most favourite teacher for me is G.S.Victor. He always have some sense of humor in the classroom. Make the class more interesting and understandable easily.

I like her because I like very much the subject she was teaching. I still remember how I excell in that particular subject before. I like it when it's time for writing compositions of poems and short-stories and everything about Filipino literature. I also knew I was her most favorite student at that time and she always let me checked the composition works of my classmates after she checked mine. | |

I had a lot of teachers, one was also my sister's swim coach...
Fact is that I had a gal in my grade that actually looked more like me than my sister did - and she had the same first name as my sis, but since he asked me if I had a sister who swam, I knew he had the right one.

| 10. sanuanu (3950) | 10 months ago |  My maths teacher and my language teacher when i was in standard 10 but I would place my maths teacher at number 1 spot because I never get penalized from her while I got a penalty from my hindi teacher for doing no wrong things.
Still he was among my favorites because the way he used to make me understand the topic was superb. He was the only teacher i could see was devoted to his job.
All else were just coming to the school to earn money and nothing else!
