Anyone know anything about dried cherries?

I've been thinking about trying dried cherries since I really like cherries but don't know if I would like them in the dried form. They are very expensive but it may be that they are one thing where a little weight wise goes a long way. So do they taste like cherries you get in the produce department or more like ones in a pie? Are they just too sweet and sugery or are they still a little tart? Anyone who eats them, please give me advice about them. Thanks.

Ohhh no idea. Wish I could help you but I have never even heard of dried cherries before reading your post.
I love cherries too though and I would be very interested to try them in their dried form. Saying that though, I really love eating grapes and they are one of my favourite fruits, but I don't like raisins that much.
