Greenlee - Still not convinced shes dead.. (all my children)

ok so kendall and ryan went to go identify greenlees deteriorated/decomposing body at the morgue YET they dont look at the body.. they see greenlees engagement ring which is a one of a kind and figure HEY! its her! IM NOT BUYING IT!! i have grown to not trust soaps that kill off people.. they are notorious for bringing them back from the dead later!! and aiden DID look at the body and looked confused (not that its hard for him) so my theory is some chic stole her ring and ended up dead and anywhere from 1-50 years from now greenlee will come back and supposively been living in a different state with amnesia or something.. and if the dna samples match that the doc some how took the dna off the ring or something.. why cant they just have everyone look at her and say she is dead with out a shadow of a doubt and put my mind at ease?? is it that hard?? lol.. what are your theories?
