Hello marketing friend. It is an interesting topic on why one wants to get married. I think that you will receive different ideas about this as each individual has a different idea about it. To me, I think what I can list are as follows,

1. You get married because you want to have children of your own.

2. For the purpose of making new generations go on and on to inherit our surnames.

3. Getting married, you would always have someone that can be your best listener and one that shares with you your joys and sorrows.

4. Also getting married is a legal way in our culture to satisfy yourself mentally and physically.

In a word, I prefer being married to remaining single though there are fewer responsibilities without getting married. I enjoy my married life as I have a family of own to care about.

I am so late but will try to express my thoughts about this.
I decided to get married because I am in love and I want to have a lifetime partner to be with, to sleep with and do things together..I don't like to be alone though I have my family who loves me and cares for me but having a husband whom I love and care makes my life as a woman more meaningful and colorful! hehehhe!
