Some lucky people are born with beautiful shiny straight black hair and they need not do anything special to make it look like that. For others, including me, I am not born with that kind of hair and would always need to go to the parlor to have that effect on my hair. The best way to get that somewhat natural look is having my hair rebonded. The effect would last for almost 6 months but I have to have the L'oreal Kerastase hot oil cream treatment every month. It is very expensive to maintain my hair just to get that effect but it's worth all the money because I could confidently wear my hair down and it makes me feel good because it is my dream to have that kind of hair.

Just use conditioner always after you shampoo your hair to make it absorb the nutrients it needed to look healthy and shiny.

Always apply olive oil on your scalp and hair before washing hair.It helps to keep hair soft and shiny.do not use hot water ,it makes hair dry and dull.

Aww I feel jealous too. I always keep my hair in a ponytail cause it always doesn't seem to cooperate with me. I might just have to cut it off to a shorter length.
There are so many options available to achieve that crowning glory women desire so much, depends on how much you want it and how much you want to spend on it.
There are many natural ways to achieve the shiny straight black hair. It only needs to be done regularly to keep your hair healthy.
Or you might just wanna go to the nearest salon and have it done faster with the same results.

Yes I know and it's so effective because it is already proven mostly by majority of matured women I knew. Use coconut milk if you have patience to do it....

When I was still in high school and college I have this shiny long black hair because my paternal grandmother always took care of my hair. She used a natural way like: mixture of coconut milk and the juice of lemon grass (tanglad in filipino language), then she will stir it carefully and pour in my hair and leave it for one hour, then wash with cold water. I maintained it until college. But when I got a job I started making my hair relax because of curiosity, so my hair became damage, I am using a hot oil coconut cream (from watsons) right now to have a natural shine and soft strand of my hair and it also works.

a friend told me not to use shampoo everyday so that the natural oil of our hair will come out. and instead of using shampoo everyday i used hair conditioner. i only use shampoo at least once a week. and if i'm not busy at weekend i apply coconut oil in my hair. :)

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. i think hair is hereditary. like me i am just 35 but my hair is slowly vanishing
so i think it is hereditary for my dad is like that too. as for those black hair. my wife's aunt once said that she uses oil from the coconut then she puts it everyday on her hair. i dont think that would be advisable specially if you go to work everyday. using the oil as she said will make sur you will have black hair even you reach a certain age were all your friends hairs are white already. so i think you can try that but i am not sure what would it look like and smell like when you need to go to work.
