Why don't you eat a frog?

Hi acmepride! I ate frog and till this days i want to eat fried legs of frogs. I remember back years my ex-boyfriend use to order in our fave billiard restaurant, we both like the taste of frogs same with other exotic dishes. There are different kinds of these jumping creatures, different colors like yellow, gold,red; they are poisonous. Yummy!

I have eaten frogs when I was a kid. We are not supposed to eat all kind of frogs. A particular kind of frogs, which are green in color are eaten in my part of country. I had a problem with breething, frong meat is good to cure breathing problems - wheezing. I also used to eat bat and tortoise meat which is also good for breathing problems.

I have eaten goat's meat but I haven't tried frog's. Maybe if I'll chance upon a restuarant that offers bar-b-qued frog,well hmmm, i'll try it.

Every now and then my kids wont eat my cooking, and the lady across the street from me has a bad habbit of cooking strange things including frog legs. So one day, I looked at my kids and all the leftovers and I said Ok, the next meal, you are all eating at Sonyas. They all asked why? I said because she is having frog legs tonight and you dont like my cooking. That night they ate every single thing I cooked without complaining.

That just sounds so funny to me, "eat a frog". But yes, I have eaten frog legs (the only part I think you can actually eat) and actually I like them very much. Where I was born, in Ga. they were at any grocery store seaood or fish counter, but where I live now I've never seen any. I don't think many people around here have ever heard of such a thing . It's the same with Oysters, I love them but can't find them here .

I don't eat frog because some frogs are not safe to eat. Some have poisons and may harm the digestion. I prefer not to eat just to be safe.

Honestly I have never had frog before.. I guess if the chance came up to try a frog I might just give it a try.. But I am not much of a meat eater in general, but I am always willing to try new things.. Then I can honestly say no thank you I have had that before, but I really do not care for the taste.. I think the weirdest thing I have ever had was duck.. But it was prepared in a Greek fashion, which I am not accustom to eating so I may try it prepared a different way.. But as of thus far I do not care for duck..

Some people are just not willing to try new things.. I guess in a lot of ways, that is how some people view life.. They would rather stay on the same path instead of veering to the left or right to go on a little adventure.. May be its due to fear, or just stuck in their set ways.. Who knows..

My Grandfather used to eat frog legs all the time, but he was never able to get me to even try them. My husband says that he likes them too, but I still won't try them. I really have no other reason than, well, it's a frog! I can't see how frog even remotely sounds appetizing.

well, i guess it is just pure mind set. i mean i love fish but the moment i bought one in the market and thought it was dead already since its insides were taken out in front of me i found it wiggling in the plastic bag. i have to ask somebody in another store to hit it in the head for me. and mind you! i cannot touch that fish to put it in the frying pan at home .
