I am getting married in June. My sister, whom is my Maid of Honor, is underage. So she immediately figured one of my best friends would take over the responsibility of the bachelorette party. Well now we're stumped. Unfortunately the area we're having the party at doesn't have many opportunities. Some of my ideas were spa day, going out the bar, bowling, etc. But we really need more ideas. The problem is that 2 of the girls in my wedding party are underage, so we're trying to think of something everyone could do during the day and then maybe the ones of age could go out that evening. Any ideas????

I think we get stuck with what a bachelorette party should be and miss seeing what can be. I would love to be at a bachelorette party that didn't leaving you hung over the next day. The spa idea sounds elegant and fun. Bowling does too and if there are people who wish to drink they can and you wouldn't run into the minors being in a bar problem. If this were me, I'd vote for spa. Very different. I like it.

I would love to have a nice spa day! My biggest problem is that for some, they'd consider it too expensive. Plus, I have a lot of friends who are out of town and the spa is about a 2 hour drive just from my parents. So for some it would be quite the trip. (We're talking 4-8 hour drives!)

I can understand that. I would suggest calling them with a head count and see what kind of deal they can do for you for bringing in a party. Sometimes if they they can fill the seats, they will lower the price because that's garuanteed income. I'd also see if there is a local motel 8 and see what price they would give you for a block of rooms. I know this all adds up, but an association I belong to does this and we've gotten rooms for as cheap as $40 a night. That or the bowling sounds good, that way you're all still close together - not so spread out. Poeple can order what they want and you'll have enough table room for gifts.
