What do you say for HELLO in your language?Whats your language? |
|
Now as MYLOT is a great place I think mylotters who have joined are from all over the world. So I thought it would be a great place to put this question as knowing mylotters language as well as what they say to HELLO in their respective languages.
Now after getting to know what they say to HELLO in their language it would be my pleasure to greet them in their own language for the future discussions.
In our language HELLO is said as NAMASKARA & our language is KANNADA
Whats yours?

3. Jennlk84 (2275) | 10 months ago | Well I'm also a native English speaker. The most common phrases I use are: Hi, Hello and Hey. We actually had a few visitors in my classroom today and they taught the kids how to say hello in Korean but I must honestly say I don't quite remember and I don't want to totally butcher the spelling - so hopefully someone here is from Korea and will post it themself!
| |
| |
|
|
krupesh (1069) | 10 months ago | Hello Jennlk, it really feels great after commenting on the above three responses saying hello in their respective languages.
Ya lets hope we have a korean who responds.Thanks.

6. thezone (2138) | 10 months ago | We speak English so "hi" or "hello".
In Irish or Gaeilge, a common greeting would be, "dia duit" or "conas atá tú?"
Although Gaeilge is our native tounge it is only spoken in very small communtities throughout Ireland.
| |
| |
|
|
krupesh (1069) | 10 months ago | Dia Duit the zone! The people who speak Gaeilge are from a different zone...hehehe
