Another way to say hello to others is??????(Have you eat?)

Well, it is an interesting topic. In my country, China, we say nihao(??) first when greet somebody or want to ask somebody who we don't know something. When you want say hello to a group of people, you can say dajiahao(???). In fact in China, you can say "have you eated?????"or "what are you doing??????" or something like that to the people you know.

In my hometown, we don't say nihao(??) to people as greeting.

i'm chinese, we always say:nihao,hao, or give a smile to each other, or call their name .in different area, we have so localism.it is more amusing! for example, in guangdong province,they always say guangdong local lauguage and in hangzhou province, they also have their own language, in different race, they speak different lauguage,they life also different.

En...In our country I say "nihao".It is chinese.I also say "Hi" or "hello".I aways say it when I meet a person at the first time.And by the way, I think it is a nice topic.

i speak english and whenever i say hi i say "WHAT UP YO" just to make people mad. or sometimes i just say...hi. or hello, or hey. or how are you. you can basically say anything as a greeting in the US and you can get away with it! or at least i can

My monther language is Chinese,so we say "??" in Chinese for "Hello".Maybe you don't understand in Chinese.:)
