Stunned astronomers watched a car-sized asteroid explode into a brilliant meteor shower as it crashed into Earth's atmosphere, and then wandered into a Sudan desert to pick up the pieces, a study released Wednesday reported. How scary is this! You Can read the hole story here http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090325/sc_afp/sciencespaceasteroidmeteor_20090325225224

This has been happening almost every day. A few weeks back or I think it was last month that I heard from the news regarding this gigantic meteor who just narrowly missed the earth. And according to the expert it is the nearest distance that a near miss from a meteor several years back. When you come to think about it, it is really scary and the movie Armageddon will come to my mind.

You know believe it or not this happens everyday. I know to me it is scary too. I know that so many things go on during the day and the night and we all do not even know what is going on. I am gonna take a look at the story and see what it is all about but I would not get to worried about it for real. Hope this helps and take care

WOW! i didn't hear about this on the news, its a brilliant story, but it happens all the time undetected, always seems to happen in deserted unpopulated areas though, if it did happen in urban areas the outcome would be disastrous.
