Pool Cues - Buy online or Offline

I've always bought my pool cues online because they were cheaper - or so I thought! My local Pool Cue retailer in Ardmore Oklahoma sells the same cues at the same price as the online stores.
Pluses
- buying pool cues in Ardmore means that I get to see and feel the cue - important if you are playing a lot of Billiards.
- no shipping costs
Minuses
- If buying locally you will pay sales tax.

I would prefer to shop at a physical store. I like to be able to pay for something and bring it home. I like to be able to see the size and shape, colors, feel or things as opposed to just assuming from online shopping.
As far as tax vs shipping, online stores usually have you include tax and then you pay for shipping too so I would rather just go into a store. But then if you are adding up costs you might as well add in gas...........
