One of my PlayStation games keeps pressing Pause every 15 sec by itself???  

I currently have a PS2. One of my games, "Die Hard Trilogy", keeps pausing itself every 15 seconds. Mind you when I say "pausing", i don't mean that it freezes,no, I mean that it automatically pauses and goes into the Pause Menu all by itself and I didn't even press anything, I can leave the controller sitting there and it will happen no matter what. I've had the game ever since it came out in 1996 and never had any problems with it.

I've tried everything though, switching controllers, restarting the system. I also tried different games (some that I've had since late 90s), no problem at all, it's only this one game that keeps experiencing this. Any ideas why? Maybe I need to buy a new copy of that game perhaps?
