There are many websites that provide the service of uploading files so that you can share them with your friends or website visitor. To name a few, they are box(dot)net, 4shared(dot)com and megaupload(dot)com. Which website are you using and what makes you think that they stand out?

| |  I use google docs, you can share documents and the person you shared it with could actually edit the files that you made. it's pretty cool! try it! :)

| |  I use deposit files and you can actually earna few cents from the downloads of your files. They allow files up to 2 GB. Check out the link on the bottom right of my profile.

| | They have ads of course but I'm not sure about if they have additional pages that pop up when one goes to download, I don't think so. Like all the file storage sites they have a free download version and a member download version. For the free one the downloader gets to download a file pretty quickly but they then have to wait if they one to download another file right away. You can join and upload files and get payed for the downloads of your files for free. They have a variable rate for what they pay depending on the size of the file, more for larger files, and depending on the download country. Downloads from the U.S. and Russia pay best and downloads from Canada and most countries in Europe combined have to be at least 15% of the total downloads each day to be payed for them. They remove files that have not been downloaded for 60 days which is pretty standard practice. I have been payed twice through PayPal and I havn't been particularly active. You should go sign up with the link in my profile and try it. If you don't like it, you can look for other sites. | | | |
