Earth Hour 2009 - What did you do?

Yup, we participated and voted for the earth, instead of global warming. We switched off our electricity last night between 8:30-9:30 P.M. We just stayed outside because there was light in the streets, I guess the government did not switch it off for safety reasons. But I was glad that amidst the darkness, there was a lady on her vehicle, and who shouted words of thanks to us for joining the Earth Hour last night. I guess these were the organizers going around, checking if people indeed participated. Sad to note though that our neighbors had their lights in full blast; I wish everybody will be concerned about our Earth, but it seems there are some who don't give a damn. But should there be other related activities, I would still glady join...after all this is the only Earth we will ever have in our life time.

I was fast asleep, in the dark, with no electric equipment in use. There was a reason for me to be in bed so early on a Saturday, which I will not explain here, but I had a good sleep and I did not wake up until just before dawn today.
