toxic to humans? Say a nuclear warhead, nuclear missle, or atomc bomb with high radation were to destroy a city, how long will it take for the land where the city use to be to recover to a point where humans can live in that area without being poisoned by toxic radiation?

if its nuclear, it can be toxis for hundreds of years,
do a search for nuclear half life, as depends on the radioactive levels they do decrease over time but it is measured in half live's the time it takes for the radiation to half in its toxic-ness,
hope that makes sense.

I'm sorry I cant give you a exact number but from what I heard hiroshima is still kind of toxic since the atom bomb was dropped on them but I'm not sure if thats true either, but if you think, the toxicity gets into soil and water, I dont really think the toxicness ever really goes away, it just stops having such an affect on the people because they get used to it, but thats just a theory
