If you lived in the days of the knights

Was a title of a book I just saw on ebay. It looked like a children's book and one I may have read when I was younger. It sounds like it's an interesting book for children. The title of the book inspired me to ask the question the title suggests so... answer me this...
If you live in the days of the knights...
Would you rather be male or female?
Peasant or Warrior?
Studied or Unstudied?
Gladiator or Audience?
Now I don't know all that much about the days when knights were popular, and I assume a lot of fairytales have been made about knights and such... so please share away!
Any comments?

If I lived in the days of the knights I'd rather be a woman, unstudied and I don't care about gladiator or audience because it's not my kind of entertainment - and if it's possible, I'd like to have the same consciousness as I do presently because being BORN in that era is a whole different thing.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I appreciate the response, but have a question. How do you define consciousness vs. unstudied? My own definitions would make the two clash together. If you were to have your own consciousness in the era that the knights lived in, you'd be studied. Atleast that's how I think.

Oh okay then, thank you so much for clarifying that for me. I wasn't sure what you meant. Yes usually when people do "what if you lived in this era" type questions they are talking about living their and not knowing that you traveled back in time. Well I appreciate the comment and clarification.

I mean that I would be aware that I traveled back in time. That everything I learned in this life time would still be a part of my knowledge when I go to that era. I have this bad habit of being too logical and often think that when people ask me "what if you lived in the past" - means that I was born in that time and I wouldn't be aware of THIS time :P

to live in the days of the Knights is great, i want to be male of course and become the knight in shining armor of the most beautiful and elegant princess in the castle, i will be a trust worthy servant of her.
to be a prince is also good, but it sucks hahaha
i had experience being a knight in shining armor of a beautiful woman at this time of age, but i do think that i haven't performed my duties well.

Knights in shining armor seem to be more valiant then princes who are merely heirs to a fortune and a kingdom, to be free and without ridicule if you do something very silly would be great! Good Choice!

This is a really good question baby and I remember you telling me about seeing that children's book on ebay and I remember that it did seem kind of interesting and a good book for children, and I am sure that different people have different opinions when it comes to living in the days on the knights,I am sure some people would have loved to live in the middle ages because it was exciting, and then I am sure there are some who would have hated it because they did not have the technological advances that we have now,I think that it would have been cool to live in the days of the knights and if I lived back then I would want to be male because they seemed to do more fighting,I would want to be a warrior that fought for justice, truth, honor ,and loyalty the way King Arthur was portrayed of doing,I would want to be studied so that way I would be more educated, and I would want to be a Gladiator because I think it would be a challenge to have to beat foes in combat to survive,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

Hi there My favorite Cowgirl. I think this is a really good topic, and there are many choices that have pluses and minuses in the options presented....
choosing a man would make me susceptible to being taken in the army by force in the days of the knights, while being a female, may lead to rape or to marring someone by force due to various interests.
I think that a studied man, soon to warrior would be the choice, perhaps something like the boy in Dragon heart 2 for example.

Beloved knights wandering
I know it's a common fantasy, but I would have liked if I be born in the Middle Ages. I was a princess of the yard, so my father Squires, sons and nobles of the region. I have attended, knightly competitions, with the love stakes, or even my hand. Well, I know there are big chances to die from leprosy or other contagious diseases at that time had no cure, but at least I was one of the few women who would have insisted on and prepare, daily bath.
