how do choose your business partner?

i have this business at our company, however this is the first time ive chosen a bad business partner. what she did was ever hurtful. she created a gap between me and my supplier. she thought of bad things like when our supplier increased the item at Php5.00 since the economy is now shakey and everything is inconsistent, she thinks that i have some part of the income from the supplier and its really very bad. i believe she is in deep sh** coz of this. i believe in karma, and i know one day she will get hers. i mean i have given her an opportunity but she ruined it for me. shes so very greedy coz she wants more of the profit. have you experienced this? how did you deal with this type of people? pretending to be your friend just to earn her way up then she will let you down to the drain so you can be eaten by sharks...
