Do you visit the graves of loved ones you've lost?

I actually don't. My immediate family is fairly small. I lost my grandmother a few years back and her remains are buried in South Carolina and I currently reside in Pennsylvania. Don't drive so I haven't been there since her funeral. But I still talk to her through prayer and whatnot every now and then.

hi madasp! As a child we visited our family graveyard at least once a month. My granfather was very picky as to how the place was kept. I have moved around alot and don't vivit near as much but I do try to make the occassional trip. It is about a three hour drive from where I live at now so it makes it tough to go regularly.

oh dear.. I want my parts donated, i have it that way on my health card.. and i want to be creamated too.. but i hadn't thought about the grave thing.. i dont think i really need a skinny 6 foot plot of land after i'm dead.. now i'll have to think.. hopefully my kids will be old when then time comes and i can ask them when i need to make a decision.. after all i dont think it matters much to ME what is done with my ashes once i'm no longer here..

I have not visited the cemetary in a long time. And I really should go see my mom and dad there. But sometimes we just don't have the time, and I talk to them in my own way, as for my husband. He was cremated so he is here with me. I also want to be cremated, and I want each of my grandkids and my two kids to have some of my ashes. That way I will always be there for them to talk to when they need to.
