Hi all,
Would you still click if you know its an affiliate link? The affiliate will earn commission if you click and buy something through its link. Are you someone who would retype the link to your browser if you found that its an affiliate link? I am involve in affiliate marketing so I would like to see user's action when they see an affiliate link.

I know some people would rewrite the link minus the affiliate code. I don't understand why some people bother to do this. Even if they rewrite the link, they won't get a discount. In fact they would save the company money because the company won't have to pay its affiliate.
This is the reason why it's important that affiliates establish a trusting relationship with their customers so that their customers wouldn't mind buying from them and giving them the commission.

What many people don't realize is that some affiliate links set a cookie on your computer. Even if you remove the affiliate link some sites still give credit thru the cookie. You can actually see the cookie expiration date if you ever look your cookies with an application like ccleaner.
