Peeing at Night

bindishah, good thing you normally have a good night sleep and you do not get up at night to pee, as I'm sure you don't want your good sleep to be interrupted just because nature called.

Please dont confuse or confuse people i am getting up to pee from when i can remeber till date as i have the habit of drinking lot of water before going to bed. So people dont worry Continue peeing with no tension...

In my dreams i often dream that i am peeing and i actually start to wet the bed...sometimes i stop myself, but other times i just let it go and cry myself to sleep..dreading the smell the next morning:(

prashanthalva, while I do understand where you're coming from and why you felt disturbed by bindi's statement, I guess it would not be totally accurate to say that bindi is trying to confuse people, as it seemed he (?) was only saying that the reasons he (?) stated could explain why people get up and pee at night.

Peeing 8 or more times a night sure seems a big deal and perhaps would already require immediate medical attention.

Okay, I'll explain this as clearly as I can, for your sake.

One, we go to bed to sleep.

Two, some of us get up at night to pee.

Three, if you're one of the "some of us," how many times do you get up at night to pee?

Four, what do you think causes it?

Clear enough?

Once, if I do not remember to empty the darn bladder.

Are you sure, though, that the only reason why you frequently get up at night to pee is that you consume water all day long? If you are, that's well and good. If not, on the other hand, I feel it will be best if you consult your family doctor about it, just to make sure.:)

I feel that what you're experiencing seems to be normal, as you "you drink a lot of water before going to bed." It's also nice that you can catch sleep easily, since any interruption (i.e. going up to pee) wouldn't really matter much.

AOL.com had an article about stress some time ago. In the article it said that for some people frequent urination can be cause by stress or a sign that you are stressed.

Thanks to that info, now I know why.

Wow, lucky you. At least, you get to "sleep straight" at night, unless, as you've said, your baby wakes up. Do you get to easily catch sleep again, though, after your baby wakes you up?
